Calling Former Athletes and non-athletes:

Are you a former college student and are now age 50 or older?

If so, we want to hear from you!

We're seeking former college athletes and non-athletes, both male and female, to help us learn more about various factors that can influence brain health and wellness over the lifespan.

CLEAATS logo: College LEvel Aging AThlete Study

CLEAATS is a nation-wide investigation designed to advance knowledge of collegiate sports participation and sport-related concussion in relation to current brain wellness.

The study is conducted by Dr. Munro Cullum, a Professor at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, in partnership with the Darrell K Royal Research Fund.

Participation

Participants will complete online surveys and a brief telephone interview about their history of athletic participation and current aspects of wellness, mood and cognition.

Female participants also have an opportunity to complete a virtual telehealth assessment in addition to the online surveys and brief telephone interview.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

Are aged 50 or older

Can read and comprehend English

Attended, at least, one semester of college or university

Did not play professional sports

Survey participant

We are collecting data from both collegiate athletes and non-athletes at this time.

Participants will be compensated $50 for completing all surveys and interviews. Participants who completed the telehealth assessment will receive an additional $50 as well.
